Wood you Save-the-Date?

Big love for this birch wood paper! Can you see the wood grain? I was so excited that I could print on it. And I think it turned out to be a very fun way to use it as the text side of a woodsy save-the-date postcard. But I was a bit too nervous to mail it naked so it is clothed in an envelope. But that adorable couple sort of steals the show, don't they?

They Wanted a Tree

Another set of logo options and the request was for a tree to be a part of it because all the wedding fun will take place in the Great Northwest. Specifically Oregon. I call it the Land of Christmas Trees! Isn't that where all the trees come from? Anyway, I thought a tree was the perfect request!

Black & White and Saving the Date

A trip to the post office to ship these babies out is the next thing on the to-do list, but I had to post them first. They are just a hint of what's to come. And by that I mean the next thing to arrive in the guests' mailboxes, the formal invitation, and then the celebration on the wedding day of my cousin and her man. Some damask, some birds, some romance! The wedding venue, Lionscrest, looks stunning in pictures and I bet it will be even more so in person.

It all starts with a Logo

The start of a new year and the start of a few new projects. And often the project begins with a logo and builds from there. My cousin is getting married (yay!) and has asked me to create all the lovely printed goodies. She likes black and white, damask, and lovebirds. I wanted to have just a touch of those things in the logo and the save-the-date cards. These are her logo options...
